Pimentel & Johnson Take the Win at JFTT #5

The Just Fish Team Trail returned from its summer break Saturday with 43 boats taking to Lake of the Ozarks for Tournament #5—and some serious September heat to go along with it. Jonathan Pimentel and Jeremy Johnson came out on top at PB2, bringing a five-fish limit weighing 20.12 lbs to the scales to claim the win.

Behind them, the race was tight. Justin Luetkemeyer and Jonathan Hardy finished second with 17.44 lbs, followed by John Sapper and Jim Dill in third with 17.37 lbs—just seven hundredths of a pound separating the two teams. Frank Sinn and Dale Bergman took fourth with 17.20 lbs, while Lorenzo Debrecht and Rob Harry rounded out the top five with 16.36 lbs.

The biggest bass of the day belonged to Roy Adams and Jacob Coleman, who brought a 5.47-lb E-Factor Lures Big Bass to the scales.

It was a hot one for our first tournament back after the summer break, but the field still produced plenty of fish, with 27 of the 43 teams bringing weight to the scales.
