Payout Structure and Championship Qualification Process

Championship Qualification: How to Secure Your Spot (updated for 2026)

SHOW ME Tournaments, LLC adopts a specific, transparent qualification criteria to ensure a balanced and representative Just Fish Team Trail championship field.

  1. Automatic Qualification:
Teams with paid entries in 5 of the 7 regular-season events automatically qualify for the championship (regardless of points). Teams are permitted to pre-pay for regular season events but can only count one “pre-paid/not-fished” event as a qualifying tournament towards the championship. In these cases, the entry fee is included in the identified tournament as a paid entry and counts towards the total boat number count and payout.
  2. Qualification Based on Points:
Teams that finish in the top 40% of the field based on final points will be eligible to participate in the championship. Points are calculated based on best five events of the regular season.
  3. Championship Payouts:
Championship Payout details are listed below. If 40 boats are not secured for the Championship, total event payout will be calculated in the same manner as regular season Just Fish Team Trail events (85% payout).
  4. Use of solos and alternates:
A team may fish up to two (2) events using any combination of solos and/or alternates (e.g., two solos, two alternates, or one solo and one alternate) during the season and still retain team points and championship eligibility. An established “solo” team may bring an “alternate” up to two (2) times during the season and still qualify as a solo team for the championship and retain points as solo team.
    • Additional use of solos and/or alternates will not count towards team points or championship eligibility.
    • Permanent changes to team structure or identified partner must be communicated to the Director in advance.

This system ensures a competitive championship while maintaining fairness for all participants. The Director has final discretion in all championship qualification determinations.
